Happy Father's Day!
We spent the weekend at the cabin for Father's Day. Brooks got a new hammock. Clearly, he enjoys it.
Bryan, Casey, Trenton and Terryn came up to the cabin on Saturday and the guys enjoyed a crawdad feast.
It was a really nice weekend. The weather was great and we just enjoyed being by the lake. When we got home on Sunday we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa.
P.S. The Humboldt Fire was 65% contained as of Sunday. It is expected to be fully contained by some time on Monday.

Bye, Nana!
Nana headed back to Philadelphia yesterday. We were all sad to see her go. I'm not sure I would have made it through the last few months without her. We will all miss Nana, but we will see her in July when we head to Philadelphia. We are looking forward to water ice, soft pretzels, and beach time!
There is a pretty intense wildfire burning here. They are calling it the Humboldt Fire. It is outside of Chico, but burning into Paradise and other areas. It is pretty scary and sad to see people lose their homes. So far, Bryan and Casey's house is not in the evacuation area. Hopefully the firefighters get it under control soon. You can check it out at http://www.chicoer.com/
We hope everyone has a great Father's Day! We are planning on spending it at the cabin!

School's Out for Summer!
Shane and I finished up school last week and it is now officially summer vacation. Shane is officially a second grader, which is pretty exciting! Wyatt got his first tooth about a week ago. He's eating rice cereal, sweet potatoes, bananas, and peas! I'm looking forward to hanging out with the boys this summer!
Shane and Brooks have been working on their wood duck project. They have been finding lots of eggs.
We were all at the cabin on Saturday. It was a beautiful day. We sat on the dock and just enjoyed the pretty day. Shane did some fishing and played with some friends. I think Wyatt is going to like being at the cabin, too. He hung out on the dock with us and played.
Nana is leaving on Thursday to head back home. We have all been really spoiled with her here and will miss her terribly. But we'll see her in July when we head to Philadelphia for vacation!
