Monterey

We took a trip to Monterey this weekend. The weather was pretty good while we were there. We were able to play on the beach a bit and we spent a lot of time at the aquarium. Here are some pictures.

Last Weekend at the Cabin

We made our last run to the weekend on Saturday evening. It's a bit chilly up there now, but it's nice to make a campfire that you actually need. This time of year is especially peaceful because there aren't too many people up at the lake.
As always, the boys tried to fish. Shane was having a hard time being patient. I think all of the excitement of Kindergarten is finally catching up with him. Here's a good indication of his level of grumpiness.

It's tough being 5. All in all, it was nice to be at Philbrook and feel the crisp air. Some of the trees were showing some color, which was nice for me. Here are a few other pictures.

Pumpkin Patch

Today was Shane's class trip to the Pumpkin Patch. I took the day off and went with him. It was a lot of fun. The kids got to go through a corn maze, pet some of the animals and of course, pick a pumpkin.
