Philadelphia

Shane and I went to Philadelphia to visit for 10 days. We had a really great time. We had lots of fun with Nana going to the movies, miniature golfing and eating water ice. We also got to see Lori, John and Sean. All of us went to the beach on what started off as a stormy day, but ended up with some sun as we walked the boardwalk.

Shane got to spend time with G.G. and his cousins, Katie, Cassidy, and Kick. He also got to see Aunt Beth and Uncle Chris. He had a great time at the Discovery Museum, miniature golfing and swimming at the pool.

My mom had a baby shower for me while we were there. It was so nice. It was a really nice afternoon with family and friends and the baby will be very lucky to have such nice things.

We had a really nice time on our trip and we were so happy to see everyone. Now we are off to British Columbia to go fishing. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Cabin Weekend

We spent this weekend at the cabin. The weather was beautiful! It sure beat being in Chico where the temperatures were in the 100's. Our friends Heide and John came with their two girls, Hannah and Julia. The kids had a lot of fun and the grown-ups worked real hard at relaxing. I think everyone had a good time!

Brooks took the kids for a boat ride.

Another pretty sunset. A perfect view. The kids had fun feeding the geese.
Shane and Amy had a good time with just a roll of masking tape and a marker!

This Friday Shane and I are off to Philadelphia. We can't wait to see everyone and get our long awaited dose of Philly cuisine! I can't wait for a soft pretzel and a water ice! I'm sure we'll have great pictures to share! Hope everyone is having a fun summer!

Lots of good stuff

It's been quite a while since I last posted. We've been busy and it just seems time has gotten away from me. Shane had his kindergarten graduation, which was super cute! He is now officially a 1st Grader!

Of course, we've been to the cabin. That is always fun. It's been a few weeks, though, so we can't wait to get back up there!

We went to San Francisco and went to the Aquarium by the Bay.

We also got to go see the Yankees and Giants play baseball and see our cousin Joe. We had a great time at the game! Thanks, Joe!

For Father's Day, Brooks got tickets to see a Chico Outlaws baseball game. That was a lot of fun, too. Shane got to stand on top of the dugout and sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame and then he got to run around the bases after the game.

And our biggest news for the past few weeks...

We got our first real glimpse of the newest addition to the Taylor Family. We are happy to report that all is going well and everything is right on track for a healthy and happy baby in early November. We all can't wait!
