Happy Easter!
We had a great Easter! The Easter Bunny came to our house and left a basket for each of the boys (Wyatt got baby toys instead of chocolate!) and there were eggs hidden in the front yard for Shane to find.

Happy Spring!
It's the first day of Spring and it sure looks that way in Chico. Most of the flowers are blooming and we've had a lot of sunshine and a few spring showers.
Brooks and Shane are working on a wood duck project on one of the ranches in the area. They spent Tuesday repairing and putting up boxes for the wood ducks to nest in. They'll go back periodically to check on the boxes and look for nests. Hopefully, they'll eventually find baby ducks!
Wyatt had his first taste of some rice cereal yesterday. From the look on his face I don't think he quite knew what to make of it. Most of it ended up on his bib. But it was a fun experience.

A Big Boy
The doctor says Wyatt's growth and development are excellent! He is 27 inches long and weighs 18 lbs. 11 oz. And his eyes are turning a hazel color.
Shane is a great big brother and Wyatt just loves him. Shane can always make Wyatt laugh. Last night after dinner Shane was singing and dancing and Wyatt was cracking up!

Four Months Old
Wyatt is 4 months old today. He goes to the doctor on Friday for his check-up. I can't wait to find out how much he weighs!

Something new every day
It seems like Wyatt does something new everyday. He's getting really good at grabbing things and reaching for things.
Wyatt played a little while on his belly finally. He usually gets really mad at me when I put him on his belly.

He loves giving raspberries right now.

A friend gave us this cool exersaucer. Wyatt seems to think it's pretty cool.

Life with the Taylor boys
Shane discovered that he is not quite as invincible as he thought he was. He fell off of the monkey bars at school on Monday and broke his left arm. He has two small fractures on each of the bones in his forearm near his wrist. He's doing really well, though. He's excited to get the kids at school to sign his cast. He even got to pick the cool green color.
